Flashing is the piece of metal that surrounds your chimney. Two types of flashing help protect the interior of your home.  Roof flashing that goes under the shingles and chimney flashing that is above the shingles and wraps around the chimney itself.
Flashing is important to have because without it, water has an access point to leak inside from that section of your roof. Much like the chimney, flashing doesn’t last forever and will need to be replaced. Our company offers different styles of flashing such as silver, black, brown and copper.
